Cnaf Cdf prototype

Shopping list for an initial hardware prototype that could be
used to experiment with CDF computing at CNAF in late 2002/early 2003.

One farmlet: 1 file server, 5-10 worker nodes
Software can be taken from existing CDF Italian AFS distribution
 /afs/infn.it/project/cdf/cdfsoft
so no code server
DataBase access to Oracle server at FNAL
 therefore no DB server
One PC for farm gateway: submitter, output stager, farm manager,
 simple "standard" config with O(200GB) disk will be enough.
 Can start with 4 IDE disks:
  0+1 mirrored for system and code (20+20GB e.g.)
  2 and 3 for data staging, configured as scratch, >=100GB each
One network switch: GigaEth toward file server, Fast Ethernet
 for worker nodes, Gigabit for gateway and outside world desirable
 (if could use this for real analyis by data hungry users will be
 a more usefull exercise)
