Interdisciplinary meetings: mathematical physics, theoretical physics, nuclear and particle physics, cosmology and astrophysics, solid state physics, genetic engineering, history of physics and epistemology, scientific education.

Following the first INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON SCIENCE AND CULTURE held in Losinj, Croatia in September 2001, in honour of Paolo Budinich 85th anniversary, we are pleased to announce the third edition of this series of conferences.

As established, each conference has a background theme: this year's theme is:

It will be held in Losinj, Croatia and is organized jointly by the most important cultural and scientific institutions in the area. Attendance is open, and there will not be any conference fee. The meeting will take place in Mali Losinj at the Hotel Aurora. Both single and double rooms have been reserved for the conference. Costs per person per day are (Euro, tax included):

How to reach Losinj

The easiest way to travel to Losinj is by car. A ferry leaves from Brestova for Porozine every hour, at 6:30, 7:30 .... to 22:30. The same ferry goes back from Porozine to Brestova at 6:00, 7:00, .... 19:00. There is also another ferry connecting Valbiska to Merag. Detailed timetables can be found here.
